About Our Slimes

  • What is the recommended age to play with slime?

6+ years to adults

  • I have allergies. Will it be ok to play with slime?

If you have sensitivity to borax, glue, fragrance, lotion, and glycerin we don’t recommend slime for you.

  • Can I eat this slime?

ABSOLUTELY NOT, this slime is only for play. Do not put it in your mouth or hands in your mouth after playing with it.

  • What should I do if I get slime in my clothes?

Place the garment in the freezer to harden if there is a reasonable amount or use white vinegar and warm water to try to get the stain out if there is little on the garment.

  • How long does slime last?

Slime can last anywhere from a few months to years, depending on how well you take care of it. 

Slime Care

  • What is the best way to store slime?

Slime should be stored in an airtight container/bag in a cool dry place. 

  • Why is my slime sticky?

Hot weather or slime that has been sitting for a while can cause it to become sticky. This happens to all slime but can be fixed by adding a drop or spritz of activator to your slime. If the slime is still sticky after adding a small amount of activator repeat the process until you have your texture that you desire. Chasing Slime comes with a pack of activator (Borax) for your slime. Mix 1 tablespoon of borax provided to 1 cup of hot water. Get the help of an adult with mixing activator for your slime. Please be careful not to add too much activator as it will make the slime hard.
DO NOT CONSUME activator or any part of the slime.
If you require more activator solution you can purchase this at most grocery stores. 

  • Why is my slime stiff/non-stretchy?

Cold weather can make your slime stiff. If your hands are warm this can help to warm up the slime and make it more stretchy. Other things that work to fix this is adding hand sanitizer, hair gel, lotion (DO NOT add lotion to clear glue slime as it will make it foggy) or microwaving for a few seconds. All of this will all help to "melt" the slime back down to your desired texture.

  • My slime shrunk, is that normal?

Yes this is normal, but it can inflate back if you play with it.

  • Oh no, I added too much activator, what can I do?!

This happens when you add too much activator. Don’t worry it can be fixed! Just leave your slime sealed in the container and let it sit in a warm location.

  • When will my order ship?

Delivery estimates for U.S. customers are always at the top of the website. We can't guarantee any specific delivery time frames, so if you need it in time for a special occasion, we recommend purchasing 2-3 weeks in advance to be safe.

  • What if I put the wrong shipping address?

Please notify us of this ASAP and we will try to fix this if the product hasn’t already been shipped. 

  • Do you ship internationally?

No, not at this time.

Returns + Exchanges

  • Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately, we do not allow cancellations unless you contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. 

  • Can I make a return or exchange?

All sales are final. Returns are not accepted at this time.

  • My slime came damaged, what can I do?

Please contact the shipping company to submit a claim and notify us immediately at admin@chasingslime.com
